The Sectoral Oversight Committee (SOC) on Food Security and Agriculture has called for a comprehensive report from Secretary to the Agriculture Ministry on irregularities and frauds in the Small-Scale Agri-Business Participation Programme (SAPP Project) implemented under the USD 10 million loan provided by the IFAD organisation.

The issue was taken up at a recent meeting of the SOC chaired by D. Weerasinghe MP.
