Malaysia’s Quest International University offers diverse educational opportunities to Lankan students

Quest International University (QIU), based in Ipoh, Perak, has emerged as a leading private institute in Malaysia, extending a broad spectrum of unique educational prospects to Sri Lankan students. Covering disciplines from medicine to business and management, engineering, life sciences, computing, culinary arts, social sciences, and more, QIU offers foundation, diploma, bachelor’s, and postgraduate programs, providing a comprehensive array of academic pathways.

Setting itself apart through hands-on experiential learning, QIU emphasizes practical application alongside theoretical knowledge, preparing students for real-world challenges. This approach is reinforced by industry advisors, adjunct academics, and collaborations with corporate partners, ensuring that curricula integrate the latest industry innovations.

Nicholas Goh, QIU’s Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the university’s commitment to evolving pedagogy in sync with the rapidly changing real-world landscape. He emphasized the significance of practical experience in equipping graduates with the necessary skills for the job market, echoing the university’s dedication to staying current and relevant.

Moreover, QIU remains committed to supporting every student on their educational journey. The institution provides extensive support systems, including personalized guidance from lecturers, peer-assisted study sessions, and aid with time management and goal setting, ensuring no student is left behind.

Since 2017, QIU has welcomed talented Sri Lankan students across various programs, from life sciences like biotechnology to business, arts, and medicine. Notably, the Faculty of Medicine anticipates the graduation of four batches of Sri Lankan students in 2024, contributing skilled medical professionals to Sri Lanka’s healthcare sector.

Furthermore, QIU’s medical program offers students the opportunity to practice overseas with recognition from multiple regional medical councils. Additionally, the incorporation of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) training allows students to specialize and practice in the United States.
