Sri Lanka’s Central Bank Thursday announced that six of its senior officials, all with over 20 years service with the bank had been appointed Assistant Governors.

The romoted officials are Dr. C Amarasekara, Mrs. WA Dilrukshini, Dr. PKG Harischandra, Mrs. DSW Samaratunga, Mrs. EH Mohotty and Mrs. RDT Gunasekara appointed Assistant Governors with effect from January 22, 2024.The new appointees are all long-serving officials who have held senior positions in the Bank.
