An audit inquiry has commenced into a complaint that the the Karachchi Pradeshiya Sabha has spent Rs. 2.7 million on planting five trees, opposite the Kilinochchi hospital.

The trees were planted as a part of a beautification project.The audit inquiry commenced following several complaints.
